We Need A Kidney...Table!!!

Help me give my students a kidney table with a dry erase too so that we can work together in small groups and share collaboratively together!

My Students

Third grade students are such eager learners, and I love being able to provide them with opportunities to grow and learn in hands-on, engaging ways! I teach two classes of third grade students for Math and Science/STEAM classes. There are 37 diverse students in my classes.

Our school is 42% free or reduced-price lunch, and our students come from a variety of socioeconomic statuses and backgrounds.

Each of my students is like a sponge just waiting to absorb everything they can!

My Project

My students need a kidney table with a whiteboard top so that we can share the work we do and collaborate with one another and learn together! Students learn best by seeing and doing and retain 90% of the new information they learn when they can effectively share it with someone else! When my students work together in small groups we share ideas and thinking so that we can learn from one another. Currently we lose time in transitions having to get out small whiteboards. This is not ideal when working in larger groups! We need a kidney table with a marker board top so that we can quickly and easily display work, share with others, and so that I can give instant feedback and help them continue on a path to success!
