This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Hello! I work in Bay Shore, New York. My students come from a diverse economical and demographical background. I have the pleasure of teaching approximately 24 general education students. Within my class there are students with varying level of academic needs. I have students that receive speech, reading, and ENL services. I enjoy engaging my students with different modes of instructional methods and by making education fun and relatable.

Fourth grade is such a transitional age and it is important for my students to have a rigorous and engaging curriculum.

My students come to school each day and feel safe and they know that they are supported and loved!

My Project

All of children want to feel safe and inspired by their surroundings. With the use of a Cricut machine, my students will be able to walk into a classroom that is filled with motivational signage and attractive colors to aide them.

The classroom environment is so instrumental in the success of the student.

With the help of the Cricut, I will be able to make informational posters by subject and I will be able to display quotes that will encourage my students to persist through tough situations. Please help me to create a safe and warm environment for my students.
