We Need A Class Computer!

My students need a HP Pavilion all-in-one Desktop computer and 10 reams of copy paper.

My Students

I teach first grade at a large urban school district. Our school is a high-needs status school with over ninety percent of our students qualifying for free or reduced-price lunches.

Most of my students are English Language Learners from low-income homes.

My students are wonderful. My students are excited about learning and love school. I want my students to learn to their fullest potential. I want them to always stay excited and committed to learning. Having a class computer will help them to stay excited about learning.

My Project

I would like to have a desktop computer for students to use during the day during learning stations. Much of our curriculum is available on line. Students could work on math, reading skills and enrichment activities on the desktop computer during this time. Many of the tests that my students take are taken using the computers. Students need practice signing in and out on the computer and learning basic computer skills.

Students will also be able to go to learning sites and work on specific skills that they need help with or enrichment in.

Having computers in our class will help students in their learning. Having a desktop computer to use during learning station time will provide opportunities for students to work on specific skills that they need to learn.
