My students are amazing! We are a two-time National School of Character and our students exhibit this every day. Our students lead assemblies, have classroom jobs and leadership roles. They love to learn and connect their learning to the real world.

I am dedicated to finding new ways to get my kids excited about learning. I know that creating lifelong learners is a huge part of my job. By making learning FUN, I can foster a love of learning in my young students.
My Project
It's math time in Mrs. K's class. Some students are on computers, others on white boards, while others attempt a STEM challenge. We've already had our whole group lesson to teach grade level skills. The small group in front of the teacher are all performing above grade level and looking forward to Mrs. K trying to challenge them with new math topics. But Mrs. K is at a loss! What more can she show these high kiddos?!?!
That's where our new math challenges come in!
This project provides a wide variety of math challenges in the areas of algebraic thinking, fractions, money and time. My high students need new challenges and these games will allow students to be exposed to new activities in fun, hands-on ways! All of these games will improve my students financial literacy as they will teach them to work with money, math and problem solving. I can't wait to see what we learn!
