Help me give my students the ability to see some body structures in larger view. These will also be used in the weight room and fitness room so students are understanding what muscle they will be working on.

My Students

I teach in a township school of Indianapolis, IN. Many of my students are living in poverty and rely on school to take their mind off of the home situations that are out of their control. Our school does not have any funding for the classroom to help with student success, so it is up to me as the teacher to make sure students are getting the learning they deserve. I love DonorsChoose.org as it gives me the opportunity to heighten their learning.

My Project

Fat Heads will make learning fun. We talk about the different organs in the body and this will give the students a fun visual to look at. The Fat Heads will also make a fun learning environment for the students as brick walls can get rather boring to look at.

I will also use the muscle and skeletal systems in the weight room to help the students learn the proper names of the muscles they are targeting during lifts.

This will make learning easier as they can see what muscle is actually being focused on and the location of that muscle.
