Help me give my students a Balance Bike and a three wheel scooter to help ease the transition from tricycle to bike riding. Our younger students love the experience of gaining balance and independence at the same time.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
The students in my school and in my class come from very diverse backgrounds. Our school has 95% of our students who receive free and reduced-price lunch. We have a large immigrant population who are very proud of their heritage and culture. Our school is a dual language school where students in grades K-3 have the opportunity to learn 50% of the instructional week in Spanish, and 50% of the week in English. Our staff is committed to challenging each student individually to learn, grow, and reach their potential.
Our school has invested in our outdoor learning environment. We have increased the area of our outdoor learning significantly in the last three years. We have added trees, plants and a mud kitchen. Last year cement was poured to increase our area for riding wheeled toys.
The next step is acquiring enough riding toys to accommodate the students, so that wait time is at a minimum for our youngest learners.
I am hoping to acquire a sturdy balance bike and scooter to go along with the tricycles we have.
I hope that increasing exercise will contribute to my students overall physical and mental health.
