Help me give my students the opportunity to pick books from our bookcase. I know they would enjoy The Percy Jackson books. We talk about these all the time in class.
I have a unique group of students. Some of them really do enjoy coming to school. They also enjoy being able to read books from our classroom shelf.
Since my students have various reading levels and interests, it can be difficult finding books that they all enjoy reading.
Some of them really enjoy nonfiction books, but I don't have very many in the reading levels of my students.
Others enjoy science fiction or fantasies. Again, it is challenging to find these in the various reading levels of my students.
My Project
My students have a wide range of reading levels. It can be difficult for them to find books in the school library that is in their range, and they enjoy reading.
Being able to check a book out from our classroom library would benefit them greatly!
Students can check books out from me without worrying about a due date, or other students waiting to check the book out.
Being able to have a varied reading levels of fiction and nonfiction books in my classroom will help me get more kids interested in reading. Once they learn that reading can take them anywhere, the possiblities are endless!
