Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My first grade students are excited to be in school every day. They are kind, thoughtful and are always looking to help one another. We are an ICT classroom mixed with autistic and neurotypical children. They are inquisitive, attentive and eager to apply what they have learned throughout the day.
My first graders are in need of books at their academic reading level!
Many of my students are below reading level and need books to support early foundational skills and behaviors that I do not have in my classroom library. Not only do we need to fill our library with level A, B, and C books, but our students need the opportunity to fill their book baggies and practice their skills at home as well! Please help fill our library with books that will foster their love for reading and help them reach their reading goal.
