My Students

My class is an amazing, eclectic group of boys and girls with low-incidence special needs. My students range from Pre-K ability levels to 2nd grade ability levels. Our school is located in a rural community. We are a mix of Moderately Impaired and Autism.

My students have many academic, social, and sensory needs.

Each one learns differently and at a different pace. All of the students in my class are eager to work on new activities to assist them with success. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

My Project

All of these materials will assist my students with their social, emotional, and academic needs. The interactive books and CD player assist with teaching students basic skills in language acquisition as well as fine motor skills and following directions. The lap pillow is weighted to assist with vestibular sensory input. The sequins cover assists with providing a calming effect for a variety of social and emotional behaviors. Your donations will be greatly appreciated. Please assist me with helping my students find success with their learning experiences in school this year.
