We Love to Laminate our Projects!

My students need a classroom laminator with pouches to laminate their stories and art projects.

My Students

My students are so creative! They are always creating wonderful stories, books, and art that I love to post in the classroom. I would love for the students to be able to have these to take home and not worry about them tearing and also for the parents to keep forever!

My 31 students live and attend school in a large urban city.

We are considered a low poverty school. My students are the happiest students around. They love to write and create and give to others. The students worked on decorating a library area outside the classroom and drew famous people. I framed these, but it would have been nice to copy them and send a laminated copy home to their parents to have. The students are always proud of their school and their work.

My Project

Being able to laminate their work would be exciting for the students. They would be able to keep their work without concern of it getting torn or wet. We would also be able to use the laminator to laminate their task cards for centers, vocabulary cards, multiplication cards, awards,...so many things! (The reviews say the laminator itself gets warm to the touch, but not so hot that you can’t touch it, so it is not too dangerous to have around small children.) My students need a classroom laminator with pouches to laminate their stories and art projects.

My students would love to have the ability to save their work and know that they would have it for years to come.

Students work so hard to do their best, this is a great way to encourage them to continue to do this. It would also give them the opportunity to share small books with other classes. We have made and donated our stories to the younger grades, but they don't hold up. This would be a great way to help build student written story libraries.
