Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We spend a lot of time learning different reading skills. We have managed to finish second in our district with our last benchmark test. My students need books so they can identify the skills they have been taught through print in a book.

My students are Title 1 students and thirst for knowledge.

This past year I have battled cancer and my students have been with me throughout the whole process. I am happy to say that my cancer is in remission from the help of my students believing in me and supporting me all the way. Please help my students obtain books so they can grow into fine young adults.

My Project

We will do book studies with the books. We will also relate the books to every day life and discuss the valuable skills that the students need to be successful in life. My students never ask for anything, but they are most appreciative when donors reach out and support them.

We will learn valuable life skills and become more proficient readers.

We will benefit from the content to these stories and help us learn more about suspense. I have 98 students and the students will dive into these new books and complete a test on them to demonstrate their comprehension of the stories.
