Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a group of 25 bilingual students. They are amazing students who love to read and write. During the school year, we have read two books from The Track Series by Jason Reynolds. We read the books Ghost and Patina, but there are two other books in this series.

My students would love to read these amazing books before the end of the school year.

Having access to these books will motivate my students to read them. They will read during independent reading, in small groups, and even at home.

By reading books that they love, my students will improve their reading and writing skills. They will also improve their fluency and their comprehension. Overall, they will read the books they love by their favorite author, Jason Reynolds.
