My students need soccer and basketball equipment to practice gross motor skills. I am also requesting pinnies to organize teams when playing soccer, basketball, and other team sports.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school is located in a large urban city. Our teachers and staff provide a safe and fun learning environment. There are many experiences for all to have, but many students stay within our area. Most parents are immigrants. They are hardworking, caring, and involved. Our school is Title I, forty percent English Learners, and all kids receive free lunch.
My students are creative and come to school every day ready to learn.
We are a bilingual English/Spanish class. Kids love readers and writers workshop as well as anything to do with math and science. We work on projects through the year that incorporate classroom presentations and parent participation.
My Project
Our school is participating in a soccer league with surrounding schools in our community. Our soccer team needs basic equipment to practice - soccer balls! The team has been preparing but many students bring their own soccer balls to practice and their are not sufficient to go around. We need a variety of soccer balls to conduct drills and practices. We also need pinnies will allow students to play practice games.
These donation will make all the difference for our team, because all members will be able to practice at the same time.
With this donation, students will build confidence in their playing abilities and be able to go out and play their heart out!
