My 32 Kindergarten students are imaginative and love to hear stories. A big book storage unit will allow me to have my big books at my finger tips and not spend class time searching for a book to read.
My students are curious and eager to learn.
Our school serves 650 children and 30% receive free and reduced lunch. We are a neighborhood school with a strong sense of community. In my class of 32 students, five of them are English Language Learners. This diverse group of students are learning at different levels and speeds. The one thing that they all have in common is a story that is read to them. If we had a big book storage unit my books will be easily accessible and the stories will be brought to life for my students.
My Project
Our language arts, math, science and social studies programs all have big books that support student learning. With a storage unit I will be able to access my big books easier and support student learning through the vivid stories these programs provide.
My students will benefit from this storage unit by allowing more time for reading and exploring book.
It will allow me to work more efficiently and effectively which will in turn help my students to use every minute of learning time to the fullest.
