My Students

I am the technology integration specialist in a Kindergarten-4th grade school that is a mostly Title I school district. I am able to work with students and teachers to help integrate technology into their lessons. My students are eager to learn and love using technology. Many of my students do not have technology at home and so their only opportunity to use technology is at school. There are just over 430 students in my school, and it truly is like a family. The 4th grade students love to see their kindergarten teacher in the hallway just as much as their kindergarten teacher loves seeing them!

My Project

We have been fortunate enough to receive a few Osmo kits for my campus of K-4th grade. As we began learning about Osmo, the students (and teachers!) realized that they love Osmo! It is such a wonderful resource for many subjects and all grade levels. We are quickly realizing that it is difficult to share the Osmo that we have among 430 students. I am requesting 1 more Osmo genius kit and 3 Pizza sets so that we will be able to better utilize Osmo at my campus. This will allow us to reach more students in a short amount of time.
