This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students would love to have hands-on experiences working in a garden and hatching chickens. I have a goal of taking my students outdoors teaching them about sustainability. My students love life science and STEM activities that involve being outdoors. We can learn by doing, observing and creating real-world, inquiry based activities.

Help us engage in outdoor learning by growing and caring for live plants and chicks and plants.

We can learn so many things about life cycles and needs of living things and animals and their babies. We can learn how to provide our own food such as chicken eggs and vegetables and herbs. We can also create a native habitat for butterflies and bees that will help our environment and our plants and animals to thrive and flourish. We hope you share our excitement about real world learning and life science. Thank you for your support.
