Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A few years ago, I created a Donors Choose Project for an augmented reality learning program called Learning Alive from Alive Studios. It was a supplemental program for early learns in reading and mathematics. My students loved it. They were engaged and could not stop asking for it daily because the learning was brought to life through the 3D augmented reality.
Alive Studios has created an update and my students would love to have the most recent version of the program.
The update includes additional learning concepts for reading and mathematics such has reading comprehension, addition and subtraction, and word problems that are not in our current program. These additional components would be extremely useful for my students because they are a part of our kindergarten standards and it would further keep my students engaged and interested in their learning.
