My Students

My students are goofy, fun-loving middle school students. They are always looking for ways to make learning fun. They have big dreams for their future, and they are willing to do whatever it takes to get there.

They will not let their circumstances get in the way of their dreams.

My students are always looking for ways to further explore their interests. They truly want to chase their dreams in whatever way they can. They are trusting their school to help them reach these goals.

My Project

By 6th grade, students need to have mastered their basic Math facts. Math 24 (double digits) will allow my students to practice their Math facts in a fun, engaging way. Factors and multiples are a huge concept for us in 6th grade and the students are always getting them confused. Math 24 (Factors and Multiples) will help them practice so they can master these concepts for the future. In Social Studies, we study Ancient Civilizations. I am always looking for ways to keep students engaged, and Mysteries in History will be the perfect way for students to think critically about history!

We love doing projects, but we don't have the necessary materials.

I am always borrowing things from other teachers so my students can have what they need. Our biggest need is a class set of scissors (and a place to store them!) We also use painters tape to mark where the desks go so that after we move them around the room, we can put them back! A paper organizer will help me stay organized so I always know where our materials are.
