This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

A typical day is one where my students are eager to learn more math daily. My students want to learn as much math as they can in school. The games and magnetic numbers will allow my students to develop and enhance what they are learning in the classroom. They can use these games at their desks or centers.

I have lively, eager students who come to school each day to learn despite their home environment.

They are always asking for more work, activities and games to reinforce the skills they have learned and what they are learning in school. The magnetic numbers and games will help them develop their math skills.

My Project

The resources I am requesting, the games, magnetic numbers and magnetic boards, will allow my students to continue their developments of the skills we are learning in 1st grade. The games will allow them to continually think and apply the skills they mastered so they don't forget throughout the year. They need continual practice of counting money and telling time. They love playing these games independently and with a partner.

The resources will help my students continue to develop and use the math skills we are learning or have learned in 1st grade.
