I have a wonderful and diverse group of students. I have over six different languages spoken in my classroom. Many of my students speak very little English and have just recently come to the United States as refugees from other countries. The diversity in the classroom can cause challenges for teaching, but it also makes my room unique and special! I wouldn't have it any other way!
My students love to learn, laugh and play!
They are curious, self-motivated learners who always want to know more!
My Project
Kindergarten is so much fun! We don't even know we are learning because we are gaining skills and practicing through play, exploration, and hands on engagement.
We are requesting 3 cases of Play Doh.
We use Play Doh every day! We use it to make numbers, letters, and words. We also use it to retell stories and for counting, measuring, and making shapes. The students love using the Play Doh to help them learn, and it also improves their fine motor skills!
We are also requesting 3 dozen black dry erase markers. We use these markers to practice writing letters, words, numbers, sentences, shapes, addition and subtraction.
