My Students

My kindergarten students are very eager to learn, especially when it comes to centers. As we prepare to get to work we are always searching for the right chair or right materials for the activity.

I teach 21 energetic five and six year olds each day in an all day kindergarten classroom.

They come eager to learn and it is my job to be sure they have the materials to do that. Our school district is in a high needs area, and our district is currently unable to provide the funds necessary for me to purchase extra materials.

My Project

By contributing to my project you will be giving my children the tools they need to come and have the perfect center environment for learning. Centers are a vital part of our learning environment and there are a few things they need in order to be complete.

These chairs will allow us to have enough chairs for every student in my classroom.

We are always grabbing chairs from other centers and tables to have enough chairs for all of the students working in that area. Along with not having enough chairs, we could use a comfy couch for the library center. They would love a blender, mixer and a coffee maker for the pretend center. My students like to make tasty treats in the kitchen and could use a few kitchen appliances. It would be wonderful if we could come in each day and be prepared for every activity that will be going on.
