This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are amazing and they brighten up my day as soon as they walk through my classroom door each day. They live in the poorest district in the South Bronx. They contribute to every learning experience with vibrant and optimistic ideals that will win your heart!
My Project
My students will learn how to enjoy and learn from the books and even develop a huge love for reading, math, learning their letters and science with the light table. The light table will help my students explore letters, shapes and science with the help of light a natural resource that they will also learn about in Pre-K.
These materials will open the door to early literacy and math for my students.
These books will give them a love for reading and help make them future excellent writers, authors and poets. Many of them do not have access to many books and with these materials they get to learn, explore and create many wonderful opportunities that will help them become successful scholars.
