This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our art classroom, we have a reference library available to early finishers and sometimes as a whole class. I would love to provide some of the more popular requests in there for reference.

My students absolutely LOVE using books as enrichment in our elementary visual arts classroom.

It's such a delight to see them attempting to draw new things and succeeding/growing their confidence with drawing.

We haven't yet delved into the world of origami paper folding and I would love to provide books and papers for them to reference and use.

Our school library has a limited amount of these books, so I would love to supplement it with a more varied art room library.
