My Students

My second grade students love to come to school, and they love to create wonderful pieces of art.

My classroom is comprised of students with various special needs, as well as those from low-income environments.

My students love to incorporate science and art together making great art projects based on our weekly themes.

They love to show their knowledge and understanding through fun hands on STEM and art creations. I would love to give them more art materials to show off their artistic skills.

My Project

My students love creating fabulous works of art. Each week we focus on thematic instruction where science, math, literacy and art are all based around one themed story or piece of literature. I am asking for materials such as STEAM boats, googly eyes, chalk, and paper, to help my students create fabulous works of art to match their weekly learning of specific science and literature we are learning about. These materials that I am requesting would help my students with their art projects. Art is one of their favorite parts of the day as they can express their learning through hands on and visual projects. Please consider helping my students gain access to all these fabulous art materials that I am requesting.
