Help me give my students materials that allow them to move as they learn with their whole body!

My Students
Our culturally diverse classroom is comprised of 18 children who love to learn. Each day, we spend time reading beloved stories, including classic fairy tales or books the children find that they can't wait to share with the whole class. With our minds brimming with inspiration, we move on to making our own books! The children are just learning to write sentences and feel so empowered when they discover they can read or write *real words* like "see" or "the!" The excitement the children have for learning is contagious and has lead to our associate principal frequently peeking in with a smile just to see what the kids are working on with such joy.
Our classroom is a loving space where we all bring our selves just as we are, and we feel grateful to have each other.
Student's cultures and unique gifts are honored and celebrated in our classroom, and we are proud to share five different languages! Fridays are among our favorite days, as we close our week with a family member coming in to read stories different cultures, sometimes in two languages! Our classroom is a truly a special place, and we look forward to each day.
My Project
Kindergarteners are passionate, curious, and active learners. They love to wiggle and move as they learn with their whole body. These materials will provide students with opportunities to move and build core strength as their mind stays focused on the academics! As adults, we often like to twirl pens or chew gum when trying to focus, the Gyrobi hand figits allow kindergarteners the same opportunity in an age-appropriate and fun way. The bouncy bands and seat cushions allow students to wiggle safely in their space as they learn to read and write! On rainy days, the rock around and hop ball will be perfect breaks for students seeking a release for their extra energy.
Providing students with materials that incorporate movement into learning will help students stay engaged and learn at optimum levels.
Often times, transitions between subjects can be challenging for students, as they need to reset their mind and concentrate on a new subject. With the yoga cards, we'll be able to take fun and meaningful breaks between activities so that students are able to enter the new subject with renewed energy and focus. Helping students joyfully achieve their best is our classroom's goal, and we know we can meet our goal with these movement materials!
