My Project

Many of our students are struggling to maintain focus and productivity in class. Regular movement breaks can reduce stress, help maintain emotional regulation, and enhance attention and productivity for students. Currently, we do not have the equipment available such as exercise bike and moonwalker to offer our students these much-needed movement opportunities to help improve behavior, along with academic and social success. Our district is small and rural, 100% free and reduced lunch, and funding is not available to support these needs. With the purchase of these items, we will be able to offer our students both sensory and movement breaks to teach self-regulation, independence, and self-advocacy for their needs.
