Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My kindergarten-fourth grade students are ready and eager to learn. Given the right tools, I am confident that they can accomplish any goal set before them.

My students come from a variety of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds, but all share a common love of technology and learning.

They are excited for a new year in a new classroom with new tools to help them be successful.

My students beam with excitement when a new skill is mastered and they are able to share their accomplishments with family and friends. My students all face unique academic and social obstacles, and their time in my classroom is vital to them closing learning gaps.

My Project

Please help me to get my students materials to keep them moving in the classroom. Taking frequent brain breaks and allowing them access to the materials they need help them to stay focused and on task when needed.

Materials such as the stepping stones, sit and spin, and various fidgets will allow them to get up and get active when they need a brain break.

My students face a variety of learning challenges and part of our focus is teaching them what strategies and materials work best for them. Having a variety of materials makes a big difference. It allows them to try things out and figure out what works for them and what does not work for them. They are always excited when they get to take control of their own learning. Thank you so much for taking the interest of my students.
