My students need Children's Chair Balls with feet, Inflatable Wobble Cushions, Wobble Stools, and Plastic Stackable stools in order to have flexible seating options that will promote movement, increase engagement, and assist in accomplishing daily tasks.
Each child in my classroom loves learning! In my classroom I strive to create an opportunity for each child to explore, collaborate, investigate, and discover the world around them. As their teacher, I feel it is my job to guide them through this learning process, making learning meaningful and engaging.
I have the privilege of teaching 21 curious and enthusiastic first grade students throughout their learning process each day!
My students come from a variety of diverse backgrounds and all have very different learning needs. In our classroom, we are up moving around, collaborating with peers while investigating and manipulating hands-on materials. This is accomplished through a structured environment that provides each student with the tools necessary to best meet their individual needs while accomplishing their goals.
My Project
Traditional desks and tables take up a lot of space and limit student movement, which is a key component in twenty first century learning. Many of my students also need to wiggle and move in order to successfully learn. Flexible seating options such as wobble stools and chair balls provide students with the necessary movement needed to complete tasks, in addition to providing multiple options as to how they would like to complete their tasks throughout the day.
