I am the proud teacher of 26 kindergarteners who love hands-on, engaging activities that allow them to experience new activities! They love to have opportunities to use a variety of materials to keep that zest for learning alive. They come to school every day ready to learn, and it is my pleasure making school fun while helping my students grow personally as well as academically. I truly am so lucky to be their teacher!

My Project
My students need flexible seating arrangements to allow for students to make choices when finding their best place to learn. To introduce my students to flexible seating I would like to provide them with bean bag chairs, rocking chairs, laundry baskets and a colorful rug to sit on.
I want to create a comfortable classroom environment that helps students be their best learning selves.
Research states that when you allow students to make choices in the classroom it empowers students to be more motivated and on task learners.
My hope for my students and many more to come is to provide a classroom that is centered around choice and student responsibility.
