This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My third graders are a great group of students who are driven to learn and grow each day in our classroom! They work hard in class to overcome any challenges that they face and they are ready to take on the world! My students mean the world to me and I want to give them the world!
My school is ethnically diverse with students from all corners of the globe.
Many of my students come from very low socioeconomic backgrounds.
My Project
All students learn in different ways. As a teacher, it is my duty to create a welcoming classroom environment that is conducive to a wide variety of learners.
Students learn best when they are comfortable in their learning environment.
I have found that students are able to take ownership of their learning when they have a choice in how they learn. Flexible seating offers my students the opportunity to choose how they want to work and where they want to work in our classroom.
By offering my students a variety of flexible seating options, I am giving them the power of choice.
