Help me give my students the flex space wobble cushions to help them move while focusing on their learning. Give my students the HP ink in order to have colorful worksheets and teacher made materials
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students range from the ages 10-11 years old. They are students in The Bronx, New York. Our school is for students with severe special needs. My students are living with autism and have severe speech, cognitive, and some physical impairments. My students are working to achieve their individualize education goals. This is my students first year in middle school and they are embarking on a new journey of their lives.
The students in my class come ready to learn each day, however they are currently lacking the resources needed to make this possible on a higher quality basis.
This is way these resources are greatly needed to help them on this journey.
My Project
The materials requested in this project is an investment in my students' future. My students have autism and therefore they need real life examples to help their comprehension. That is why the HP Ink is being requested. With this ink, I will be able to print color materials that will be used to help them achieve their personal goes. The laminating sheets and hole puncher will be used to maintain the materials created with the ink.
My students are always on a go, the flex-space wobble cushion will help them get that movement sensory need fulfilled while focusing on their learning.
Flexible seating will be used to help motivate my students to engage and learn.
Overall the students in my class are amazing, they don't let their disability hold them back. They face many challenges everyday so please help eliminate one of their challenges: lack of resources.
