My students need the math instant learning centers as part of the guided math instruction. The centers include all the topics that we currently cover in 2nd grade math. The centers will advance my students knowledge.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I work in a Title I school where most students are from low income homes. Our school is in a low income neighborhood. One of the great things about our school is the parent participation in our school events. Even though most of our students do not have great advantages, they are intelligent, inventive and creative.
My classroom is made up 62 Hispanic bilingual students who are eager to learn.
This year my students' reading levels range from those reading at a third grade level to the ones on a kindergarten level. As a teacher, I have to make sure that my classroom is organized so that students are always on task. My students don't have a lot of stability at home, so it is important for them to have stability at school. They need to know what is expected of them and when and how to do it.
My Project
I currently teach three math 2nd grade bilingual class. The materials am asking for will allow my students to practice and work on concepts which they need work on. The instant math learning centers would also allowed me to work individually with concepts that each student needs.
The materials that am asking for would increase students knowledge and skills in Math.
The privacy dividers and math materials will also help students when doing test and individual practice. As part of our curriculum our students do a demonstration of learning at the end of each lesson the privacy partitions will make the results more authentic to the students learning.
