it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My elementary ESL class is full of amazing students from all around the world. Multiple nationalities, cultures, and languages are just a small part of the students seen in my classroom each day. My students are diverse groups and bring many different personalities and strengths to the classroom! They are unified in their motivation and enthusiasm, their caring and kindness toward their school and each other. Regardless of the many struggles they may have faced, my students are always here, always happy and eager to learn.
My Project
Now that our classes are fully online with remote teaching I am finding that my technology just doesn’t cut it! I teach English as a Second Language and my students need a large amount of visuals, videos, eBooks and pictures! The problem is that the more visuals I try to display, or videos I play while streaming my live classes, the more my computer delays and slows down. These learning tools I use daily are a must for my student's age group and provide a huge benefit in helping language barriers. An Apple Mac Book Pro will provide the needed processing power for my student to have a better learning experience.
