My Students
My students range from 7th to 9th grade. They are bright, fun, energetic girls and boys who are being challenged this year to improve their reading and writing skills.
They are sweet kids that are coming into themselves and learning what they enjoy. They are hard workers and look forward to making giant leaps in their learning this school year.
My students' interest range anywhere from sports to reading for fun, and even learning everything there is to learn about a computer.
My Project
These books will help my students become stronger readers. Each one of my students have reading goals they must reach by the end of the school year. Having reading goals and pushing my students to read all types of books helps them to improve their test scores and their everyday vocabulary.
Reading helps all of my students broaden their horizons and shows them there is more to life than what they have seen. These books will give them options to explore and figure out what types of books they prefer. The different types of reading material will also show the students that there isn't just one set way to write a book.
