My Students

Help us become better readers and love reading! We have been donated a beautiful new listening station, now we just need the books to listen to! Please help us find pleasure in literacy by donating to our classroom.

My students are brilliant boys and girls with high energy and eagerness to learn!

They attend a District of Columbia Public School in the heart of the nations capital! Each day the students come ready to learn and pledge their commitment to trying their best. They enjoy engaging in read aloud stories and listening to books on cd!

My Project

We are asking for donations to help fund our classroom audio library. We have a beautiful new listening station thanks to people from donors choose and are now in search for books to listen to! We need books on CD to listen to their favorite stories with their new listening station! Listening to our favorite stories helps build our literacy skills and comprehension of advanced texts! We love to hear our favorite stories read to us during our center time.

This project means the world to me and my students because it opens up the opportunity to explore different genres during our independent literacy time.

We love listening to our favorite stories and then reading them independently! This gives us the opportunity to listen to various texts and discover our favorite types of books.
