We Have a Dream!

My students need an IPad and an OtterBox Defender to enable them to achieve their dreams.

My Students

My amazing students have dreams like all students! They want to be doctors, lawyers, teachers, scientists, and race car drivers. The only thing standing in their way is technology. My students have amazing abilities which are impacted by autism, developmental delays, and health impairments.

My students live in an area that was devastated by Hurricane Katrina, the oil spill, and the recession.

As a result, my students do not have access to technology at home. As an inclusion teacher, I do not have access to iPads which would enable me to meet the varying needs of my students.

My Project

I am requesting an iPad and Otterbox for my students. The iPad would enable me to modify my instruction to their specific strengths. They could practice sight words and spelling words using the iPad. Students with writing difficulties could write using the iPad. It could also enable students who have behavioral meltdowns the opportunity to calm themselves with soothing music or graphics. The iPad would allow my students to begin their path to their dreams by achieving "Destination Graduation" and beyond.

Please help my special education students!

They don't deserve to have less than other students in the country simply due to natural disasters. My students can do anything! Will you allow them to achieve the dreams? You could change their lives!
