Help me give my students comfy seats to sit on and ink to have their imaginative stories come to life.

My Students
I am the lucky teacher of a very special group of second graders. My class is made up of some of the most adorable faces you have ever seen. My students come from a diverse background. I have many ELL learners and special needs students in my class. The needs of my students are extremely important to me. They come from a wide range of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds but the one thing that they have in common is the desire to learn. The students and their families all hold the value of education extremely important despite the challenges that they face. Many of the students come from hardworking, immigrant parents. School is the place where they learn English, have their meals, feel safe, and grow. Enabling them with a classroom that fits their needs is just a small part that I can do to ensure that they are receiving every opportunity available to them.
Abraham Lincoln once said, "The best way to predict your future is to create it." I want to give them an environment where these wonderful minds have the opportunity to create a future that will change the world.
My Project
I want to unleash the creativity of the young minds in my classroom. Flexible seating and ink are exactly what I need to get their minds moving and their hands writing. Students learn differently. Some love to sit at their desks while others need that quiet, alone space. By providing my students with these comfy cushions, I can allow them to take ownership of their learning. They can choose a place in the room and immerse themselves into their writing. Being able to take ownership of where and how they want to create is a very important part of learning. Having the ability to choose a place to set their imaginations into gear will be an awesome learning experience. Providing the ink they need to print out their original works would be the icing on the cake.
Young, creative minds are a gift.
Seeing a child's face light up when they are relaxed and comfortable in a room is something spectacular. When a child feels comfortable in their environment, they can climb mountains. Providing this space for the students in my class would not only be a gift to them but to me as well.
