Help me give my students an opportunity to learn how to play the ukulele. Having experiences with instruments broadens their horizons and brings them so much joy.

My Students

My music students are very creative and full of great ideas. There are 500 students in our school and each student comes to music twice a week.

Many of the students in our school come from low income families and they don't often get a chance to experience music outside of school.

This would create a chance for them to use instruments more often.

It is wonderful to watch them light up as they use instruments, some for the first time.

My Project

As children play instruments, it helps with their eye/hand coordination, it increases reading abilities, and grows creativity. The students will be able to take the note reading they've been learning and put it into practice on an actual instrument.

Many of my students never have a chance to play instruments outside of the classroom.

They love to play instruments!

Please help me help my students. Music is a wonderful way to help reduce stress and learn even more. My students love to participate in music. Music makes the brain smarter!
