We Create and Design Part 2

My Students

We seriously have some of the best students in our small-town elementary school.

My students are always ready to try something new and because of that, I want to be a better teacher every day.

I want to grow with them!

Our school includes over sixty percent free or reduced-price lunch recipients. Together our community, parents, and staff work to get us everything we need. I am so grateful to have wonderful people like you also partnering with us to help get our students everything they so deserve.

Although this year may look a little different whether in person, online, or a mix of both, I know we'll build our classroom community and become the family we always are.

I am teaching four sections of STEM classes at four different grade levels in our middle school. My classes are STEM, Robotics, Digital Applications, and Pre-engineering design. I am loving all the unique learning that is happening.

My Project

My pre-engineering class has already started coding, working with robots, building 3D designs, and working with many other digital tools. We have also begun printing our vinyl projects on our new and old Cricut machines!

Design is a universal language where students can be as creative as they would like.

I want my students to be able to take designing as far as they want to. Students have created a design to take home and also created a design to brighten up our school. Now I want to teach them about other ways to use our new Cricut Maker. We will be able to print, cut, and make custom creations! The fabric, wood, canvas panels, vinyl, markers, foil, buckets, and t-shirts will help us learn how to take our designing to the next level.
