This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"One little, two little, three little TKers, four little, five little, six little TKers, seven little, eight little, nine little TKers, ten little TKers counting, ten little TKers sorting, ten little TKers having fun!" My Transitional Kindergarten (TK) students are eager to learn their numbers.

I have twenty-two energetic four and five year old students.

My TK students come from diverse cultural backgrounds and have different learning styles. I have eleven English learners with California English Language Development Test (CELDT) levels ranging from Beginner to Early Intermediate. This is the first year the TK class is being offered at my school. Likewise, this is my first year teaching TK. It's been fun getting to know all of my students. They are eager learners who thrive with hands-on activities.

My Project

Students enjoy math time. During math time, students rotate five learning stations. The learning stations focus on a variety of math skills. Therefore, a set of counting game boxes, number sequencing puzzles, number fishing set, count and write math mats, counting keys classroom set, counting puzzles, and link counters that I am requesting would be used during math time to help students learn their numbers, count, sequence, and add. These materials provide hands-on practices that make math skills building fun.

All donations will make an immediate difference in the education of my students.

Your contribution to this project will show that we share the same vision of helping young learners explore counting, numbers, quantities and simple addition.
