Save our work in a flash! Flash drives are needed, so that we can save our unfinished computer work, and go back at a later time to complete it.
Teaching computers is a lot of fun, and it is even more rewarding when my students show interest.
I teach close to 190 6th, 7th, and 8th graders in a computer lab setting in NY. My students are eager to learn, but much time goes wasted when it is time to save our work.
My Project
Flash drives would help my students out tremendously. Being that I have so many students, it is hard to keep track of their assignments. I am asking for 32 flash drives, so that I can assign each students in every class a flash drive. I will use 1 flash drive per 7-8 students. The use of the flash drives will allow the students to save their drafts and uncompleted computer work for a later time. In the past, I have been saving each and every students' work on my very own flash drive, and everything was extremely unorganized. I would have to personally walk around the classroom during each different class period and insert my flash drive into their computer in order to save their work. This task would take up unnecessary time, when I could be assisting students who needed more help or were unclear about the task. The use of flash drives will allow the students to share and save their own work, as well as give us more time for learning.
YOU can help make a difference in our classroom!
The donation of flash drives will allow more time for learning, instead of having much wasted time. I, as well as my students would extremely appreciate your donation. Thank you.
