This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a blended class of pre-k students that are always on the go. My class ratio is ten typically developing kids to eight kids with special needs. My students are learning to help their non-verbal peers during work and play.
My students need noise-cancelling headphones to help them focus and assist my students that are sensitive to loud noises.
We are connected to another classroom which can cause the noise levels to get higher than normal. My students have requested noise-canceling headphones to use during rest time. However, I don't have enough for all my students that need them.
