We Can't Hear You!!! New Headphones Needed, Please Help!!
My students need headphones to ensure they are able to listen to books daily. Other items requested are play dough, storage containers, and a stand for our new handphones.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
In Kindergarten, one of the most popular literacy activities is the listening station. Currently, some of head phones are broken and the wires are constantly tangled. I am asking for new wireless headphones, along with other items like play dough and other items that we use daily.
Our students come from all over the world, over 30 countries and speak nearly as many languages.
Over 70% of the students received English Language Learner support and over 90% of the students received free or reduced-price meals. Our parents are are active, but lack ability to provide financial support.
My Project
Our new wireless headphones will ensure that the head phones will not get tangled, along with providing reliable headphones. My students love to listen to books on the listening station. The play dough included in this project will be used during play centers, literacy, and math stations. The laminating sheets will be used to ensure stability of the games that I make for the classroom. All of the materials requested will be used daily in the classroom.
