Poverty does not put a wall on your dreams, together we can provide a solid foundation to the students that I serve. Financially, I am not able to always provide the supplies that I would love for my classroom, but I try my best. As a mother of three boys, I know the importance of doing my best to ensure that my students are able to do their best. I grew up poor and my teachers helped me break the chains of poverty. I am determined to do the same for my students. 70% of the students at my school received (FARMS) free and reduced lunch.
