My Students
I have a very dynamic group of 7th and 8th graders for ELA this year. They come from diverse backgrounds from all over the world. In ELA we get a chance to read about and explore a variety of ideas, discuss them in-depth, and write about them.
My task this year is to foster my students' lives as both readers and writers.
I am excited about the opportunity to guide their growth this year in ELA. It's going to be a great year.
My Project
My students need opportunities to practice their writing strategies on their own, in pairs and in small groups. The materials in this project will help them to create individual, pair, and small group activities and projects to further their writing skills.
When students are well supplied for their lessons and activities, they can get right to work.
The dry erase clipboards and markers allow students to visualize their thinking and process information quickly for discussions. The markers and construction paper can be used to create mini-projects based on their discussions and activities. The pens and pencils will keep them always ready to write. With supplies taken care of, they can get right to the writing!
