This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

What makes our students special? Our students are leaders. Our students are young leaders that are determined to love life, love their community, and love learning. They are young leaders from all walks of life. They are young leaders, whom on paper may seem to be economically disadvantaged, English Language Learners, or from low income families, but they persevere, and lead in circumstances that would stand in their way.

Our students in first are kind, they work together, and they are proud.

These young leaders come to school wanting to learn, and eager to find out about the world around them.

My Project

Supporting this project means you support learning that provides engagement, representation and learning in a way that is meaningful and engaging for each student!

These materials will make a large difference and improve their school lives, because they will be able to LEAD, LOVE and be EXCITED to LEARN!

Students will be able to model their learning, model their thinking, and allow for them to express themselves, and their learning.

Supporting this project allows teacher talk to be reduced, student participation during whole group lessons to go up and students to feel empowered to support and learn alongside their peers. The opportunity to have an interactive board will go above and beyond and provide opportunities that we do not have at this time!
