Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My kindergarten students are the most impressive and intelligent little people you can work with. They are imaginative, energetic, and full of enthusiasm.
They are so hungry for learning and so willing to be active individuals.
My students all come from low-income households and one of the poorest neighborhoods in the city. Unfortunately, they do not have the opportunity to be exposed to so much more.
Through the use of a laptop I will be able to communicate remotely and provide the support they need by providing fun interactive lessons and activities. Also, we will be able to use different platforms to engage in video chatting, where we can enjoy read aloud, review work and receive feedback. Keeping students engage in a fun way will be number one priority.
My Project
My students are so willing to get into distance learning through the use of technology. Google Classroom has been a great platform to keep them engage and learning. It is easy to use, accessible, and effective communication tool. My students will continue to benefit if I can continue to be able to support them with the use of a laptop. I will communicate with my learners, provide them with constructive feedback whenever they needed it, and streamline the sharing of classroom documents and assignments.
