My students are an amazing group of third, fourth, fifth and sixth graders who are full of energy and have a thirst for knowledge. They come from a variety of homes and lifestyles, from one-bedroom rental property to family farms. Many students in our small, rural community come to school to feel safe and loved.

Over half of our students qualify for free or reduced-price meals. As a teacher in a low-income school, it is hard to obtain the resources needed for my students to become successful learners.
My Project
A projector and document camera will be used to display important lessons on my whiteboard. When projected on the whiteboard, it will be easier for my entire group to see.

I will be using Foundations with my students in Title I next year. There are many things in this system that has to be projected on the whiteboard.
Having a projector and document camera will help tremendously with this!
The scissors, stapler, hole punch will be used for everyday things in the classroom.
