I am a Spanish teacher in an urban school district. My students typically come into my room and we greet each other with "Buenos Días" or "Buenas Tardes." We complete warm up activities, and pair and communicative activities within our classroom. We have so much fun learning and exploring the language.
I try to make my lessons as engaging as possible so that all of my students find something interesting about the content.
I would love for the students to have something to look back on and for them to actually be able to communicate in Spanish after studying for a year or two or more.
My Project
My students and I currently use an old projector screen that is mounted to a wall in my classroom. It doesn't offer any flexibility, creativity and is often hard to see. It also covers much needed white board space where students collaborate or important notes are written.
With this TV and stand, I could make learning move around the room and go where ever is needed in our space.
I could use creative and engaging chair configurations that aren't bound to where the projector screen is because it can now more with us!
