Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are from a variety of grades and ethnic backgrounds. I love how curious they are about the world around them and how they make it their mission to create an atmosphere in school that is inviting and inclusive to all. I work with classroom teachers to help foster and build leadership and community in each and everyone in our school. I also work with a small group of students called the Lighthouse Team that creates and heads all community service projects within our school building fostering leadership and kindness in everything we do.
My Project
Having a document camera to help my students be more engaged and able to clearly see the steps it takes to complete certain activities in lessons is so important.
The document camera would help students to be more engaged because they will be able to see what I am doing in real time.
The notebook and pens will be used as tools that will also help in engaging my students and help them to be able to follow along with me as we complete math problems as well as work in other subject areas.
Having a document camera will make a huge difference in how my students are learning and will help them to be successful!
